EME Company manufactures medical textiles designed to support patient care. The product line includes telemetry pouches, fetal belts, ice bags and infant caps. Each item serves a clear purpose in healthcare settings where reliability matters.
Telemetry pouches help hold monitoring devices in place so patients and providers can track readings with ease. Every product reflects careful design and attention to function.
Custom equipment plays a key role in driving innovation. The team designs and adjusts machinery in-house to improve processes and reduce inefficiencies. This flexibility allows quick changes without relying on outside manufacturers.
By modifying equipment as needed, the team reduces downtime and keeps production moving. These improvements support consistent output and stronger overall performance.
Continuous improvement guides daily operations. Our team works to reduce repetitive steps and simplify processes across the production floor. These changes help increase efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards. Each adjustment strengthens the ability to deliver dependable products. The goal remains clear. Create solutions that perform consistently in real healthcare environments.
Customer feedback plays an important role in product development. The team connects directly with end users to understand their needs and improve designs. This collaboration helps shape products that solve real challenges in patient care.
Strong communication also supports better service. By staying connected to customers, the team can respond quickly and continue refining products over time.

I began working at EME during high school and continued working part-time while attending LSU. I worked on the production floor, made boxes, pulled orders, and even drove the van from warehouse to warehouse when EME consisted of 3 buildings. After graduating, I moved into the role of Inventory and Logistics Coordinator where I moved LTL freight and assisted with managing inventory. I was promoted to Manufacturing Manager in January of 2021, where I do a little bit of everything, such as managing employees, staying on top of raw material, finished goods and mechanic’s parts inventory. I am also involved in quality control, purchasing, negotiating freight rates, control of the shipping department, and special projects.
I started my career at EME in 2005 as an Industrial Equipment Technician and became Project Engineer in 2016. Since taking on that role, my team & I, along with our resources, have been focused on and incorporated many automation processes into our operation. My responsibilities include coordinating and completing projects on time within budget and scope. I take great pride in what I do to represent our company.
