Most of the Ice Bags sold in the U.S. are made in China. They are all made with layers of material that form the bag. Our research indicates that their bags do not get very cold because the layers of material trap air between them. These air layers act as insulators keeping the cold from transferring through to the patient.

Our Ice Bag is constructed with a soft layer of Polyester/Rayon Spun lace material. The Polyester is soft to the patient’s skin and the Rayon blend allows any moisture to wick and quickly evaporate. The Polyester/Rayon material is fused to a layer of Polyethylene/Nylon to give our bag a very sturdy constuction. By fusing the layers together we eliminate air pockets.

In addition to offering a style that uses traditional tie strings to attach to the wearer, we offer a bag with a compatible foam strap that allows the patient to apply compression where the hurt is. It also stays securely in place during the therapeutic application.
